Biography:
Liqun Peng (lq.peng@ecjtu.jx.cn) is currently an associate professor with the School of Transport at the East China Jiaotong University. He received his Ph.D. degree in transportation engineeringWuhan University of Technology, in China, in 2015. Since 2016, he has been admitted to University of Alberta as Postdoctoral Fellow,he has worked on studying new algorithmsinformation technologies to modeloptimize the Intelligent Vehicle-Infrastructure System. His research interests are in the area of advanced driving assistance system, connected vehicletraffic big data, specifically for improving roadway mobilitysafety for both arterialfreeway. Dr. Peng has been awarded an Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis Award at the 10th Annual Meeting of China Intelligent Transportation Research Academic in 2015,a Best Paper Award at the 13th Annual China Academic Conference for Ph.D. Candidates in 2015.
